2019-2020 Volunteer Opportunities

Family participation and support makes the Chiaravalle experience meaningful. Whether you're available early mornings, evenings, during school hours, or weekends, we offer ways to volunteer your talents and share interests.

Ask anyone. Volunteering not only strengthens our community but is a fun way to meet people and make new friends. Once you sign up, a member of our Advancement Team or the CFA will reach out to get you started. Thank you!

Grow Your Mind Grow Your Community

Affinity Groups

Affinity group sessions provide an opportunity for sharing and exploring your life and experiences within safe and supportive spaces defined by membership in a specific identity group. Identity groups may be determined by your race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, family structure, or other aspect.

Affinity group participants celebrate identities, share successes and challenges, and engage freely. You know you are in the right affinity group if you can say unequivocally, “I am __________” and speak to that group’s collective identity and experience from the “I” and “we” perspective. For example: I am a single parent, I am gay, I am Latinx.

At Chiaravalle, Affinity Groups are volunteer lead and each group needs a leader or leaders. Please indicate below if you would like to lead a group.

Please share your affinity group(s).

FAN — Family Action Network

Each year, Chiaravalle sponsors a number of FAN events . This role is simple — while attending an event, sit at the Chiaravalle table, welcome guests, and share information about our modern Montessori school. The perk is reserved seats for the most popular speakers.
