“The exercises of practical life are formative activities, a work of adaptation to the environment. Such adaptation to the environment and efficient functioning therein is the very essence of a useful education.” — Maria Montessori
The Practical Life area in Montessori Environments provides the foundation for a child’s success in cognitive, social and emotional areas of development. We never outgrow our need for the skills and knowledge inherent to this vital area. Join us for an evening of
activities and analysis. Table scrubbing will take on a whole new meaning for you.
