We Worked!

Well, you’ve seen how well Montessori works for the children who attend Chiaravalle Montessori school, and
after the 2010 Spring Benefit, MontessoriWorks!, the reason is clear: This community believes in, is inspired
by and works hard to maintain and grow this wonderful environment.

Parents, teachers and administrators all came together on April 24 and raised more than $100,000 for teacher salaries and $48,700 for Fund A Need. Bidding on incredible items while enjoying a wonderful meal and good company might not have felt like work, but the money the event raised is invaluable and goes a long way in helping secure the future of Chiaravalle Montessori School.

But, the fun isn’t over! Are you wondering if you won an item or event you bid on? Or, do you know you won during the auction and are wondering how you pay? The answer to both of these questions is simple: Contact Lizzy Kozak at lkozak@chiaravalle.org and she’ll let you know. Also, sign-up parties are going to be starting soon, so be sure you get your money in. Again, you can contact Lizzy Kozak for help.

For all of their hard work to make the Spring Benefit a success, let’s give a big thank you to all the volunteers.
Their tireless efforts and willingness to offer their time, expertise and, in some cases, brute strength, is another
reason this event was so successful:

Alex Piper, Ellen Palmer, Nancy Syburg, Allan Lombardo, Heather Collins, Omar Garcia, Avi Neurohr, Jay Anderson, Pat Fox, Bill Raspe, Joshua Corey, Remy Dercksen, Carolyn McNulty, Karin Erickson, Rick Boynton, Cheryl Hubbard, Lauri Olivier, Rod Levy, ChristinaMoore, LibbyWolfe, Sanna Chen, Dan Cunningham, Lynn Raspe, Sarah Zematis, Danielle Siebert,Mariana Romano, Sofia Burau, Danny O’Shaugnessy, Mary Levato, Susan Avril, and Michelle Vallet.

And a very special thank you and huge congratulations to the 2010 Spring Annual Benefit Co-Chairs Pam Levy and Stephanie Anderson!
