Extracurricular activities are offered at the Elementary level at Chiaravalle. Many students are involved in faculty-led after school studio classes or volunteer-led clubs or teams.
After
School Studios are single subject explorations of a topic or activity for
elementary-aged children that meet once each week for six to eight week
sessions in the fall, winter, and spring. A brochure featuring the studio
topics available that session goes home shortly before each session.
Chiaravalle has a parent volunteer-led Chess Club that meets weekly throughout the school year and participates in many local tournaments. 4th and 5th grade boys and girls may participate in an interscholastic basketball program. Each spring, a few 4th-8th grade students compete in events at the all-Evanston track and field meet.
