Board Governance Committee is responsible for the on-going education and development of Trustees, the nomination of new Trustees to the Board and for development oversight of the Strategic Plan, which is implemented every five to seven years. The Committee is also responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of the Board and assuring that the Board functions within compliance of its own by-laws and other state and independent school rules and regulations. Further, the Committee is responsible for communication and accountability to the rest of the Chiaravalle community on behalf of the Board. The Committee is usually chaired by the immediate past president of the Board.
The Committee meets approximately every 4 weeks.
