The Finance Committee is responsible for the oversight of all of the school’s financial management and development and implementation of the school’s strategic financial plan. It provides expertise, makes recommendations and monitors all business-related policies and strategic financial decisions. Together with the Head of School and Director of Finance, the Committee develops an annual operating and capital budget, reviews the annual audited financial statements and tax filings and oversees management of the school’s endowment. The Committee’s primary strategic goal for 2011-2012 is to finalize an endowment spending policy.
The Committee meets approximately every 6 weeks.
