The Executive Committee is the governing body for the Board of Trustees and is comprised of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and past President, with the Head of School serving as an ex-officio member. The President of the Board presides over this committee which works closely with the Head of School and is charged with managing and monitoring the progress of other Board committees on their strategic initiatives. With exceptions as outlined in the Bylaws, the Executive Committee has the authority to act on behalf of the Board of Trustees between meetings or in an emergency.
The Executive Committee meets approximately two weeks before each full Board meeting to finalize the agenda, and operates on an as-needed basis between meetings.
